Fifth Annual “Sante Fe” Regatta is ON - October 26, 2002
The fifth annual Lake Sante Fe Regatta is on this year, but due to the water
levels at Lake Sante Fe, the race will be held on the St. Johns River in
Palakta. The race will be run
from the Crystal Cove Marina, 2 miles north of the US17 bridge in Palakta. This race is always extremely fun for
the entire family and this year looks like another great year. Be sure to read the Notice of Race and get your Registration Form in early!
October 21, 2000
October 21 was the Third Annual Lake Sante Fe Regatta hosted by the Gulf
Atlantic Yacht Club. Although this regatta has been traditionally
dominated by pocket sailors, the cats showed up in matching numbers this
year. Congratulations to Hobie Fleet 153 member Michael Binford who
took first place! The sailing was great with some close finishes as
first and second were only separated by 25 seconds after three races. Here are the
complete results.
October 14, 2000
The majority of the fleet made it down to the Wildcat Regatta hosted
by Fleet 11 and the Lake Eustis Sailing Club. This was a great regetta
and will definitely become an annual event. The results of the Wildcat
