Welcome to the Hobie Fleet153 home page. We are located in Gainesville, FL and sail anywhere we can. We are a relatively small group of sailors that always manages to have a good time. One of our members, Dave Carlson, has taken sailing to a new level by adding foils to a Hobie 18 AND a Hobie 16!

The closest place to sail in Gainesville is Lake Sante Fe, located about 20 miles east. We can be found out there almost every weekend and sometimes at night when there is a full moon.
